Weather
Yukon has long, cold winters and short, warm summers, with temperatures dropping below -40°C in winter. Summer days can be surprisingly warm, reaching 25°C or higher, especially in Whitehorse.

My experience
in Yukon
Driving to the Yukon was an interesting experience. Between roads that were unfinished, a bison herd crossing our path, and forest fires threatening to close the highway, it was quite the adventure.
But we were definitely happy that we got to explore our first Territory. And I was especially happy to be able to experience the Midnight Sun at its peak while in Dawson City.
It was the strangest feeling to be wandering the streets of town at midnight and yet there was still daylight! Something I won’t soon forget!
Of course, becoming a member of the Sourtoe Cocktail Club was right up there with other unforgettable experiences!
