Weather
Alberta has a varied climate with cold winters and warm summers. Winter temperatures can drop below -30°C, especially in the north, while summers often reach 30°C in the south. The province is known for its Chinook winds, which can bring sudden warm spells in winter.

in Alberta
From the moment we set foot in Alberta, we knew that we would be back.
We fell in love with the incredible hikes, wildlife sightings, and unique attractions. In fact, they continue to draw us back to Alberta year after year.
It seems like the more we visit, the longer our bucket list gets! And while we have road-tripped through most of the province, it seems like the National Parks always have a way of luring us back.
If you are an outdoorsy type person, then we would highly recommend Alberta. My biggest bucket list item is to go ice skating on Lake Louise during their winter Ice Magic Festival. Meanwhile, John is just chomping at the bit to go skiing.
