Weather
PEI has mild summers and cold, snowy winters, with fresh ocean breezes keeping temperatures comfortable in the warmer months. Fall is a beautiful time to visit, with colorful leaves and fewer crowds.

My experience
in Prince
Edward Island
Prince Edward Island was a lot of fun to explore. Aside from driving my family crazy chasing down lighthouse after lighthouse, we did some beach-hopping, camped in the National Park, and learned a LOT about Anne of Green Gables!
Prince Edward Island is also known for its mussels and potatoes, which we happily devoured. There is even a Potato Museum where they sell potato fudge, and you guessed it, French Fries. The fudge was delicious, by the way!
And while Charlottetown was a lot of fun to visit, some of the scenic small towns were charming beyond words.
Some of our favourite memories include spending the night in a Lighthouse, digging for clams on the red-sand beaches, driving over the Confederation Bridge, and treating ourselves to heaping scoops of ice cream at Cows Creamery!
